Janitor Part Time

|Description:||Working 28hrs per week|
Responsible for the overall cleaning as specified in the cleaning contract.
Sweep & mop all non-carpeted areas using cleaning solutions provided by Phoenix.
Wipe down and clean windows (internally) and window sills.
Dust all furniture and wipe down countertops.
Empty all receptacles and removed trash to designated areas replacing all liners.
Vacuum area rugs and carpet.
Dust wall-mounted frames as needed.
Sweep outside of premises.
Spot clean entrance doors, interior doors, doorframes and around light fixtures.
Sweep and mop stairwells.
Must have knowledge of MSDS sheets and assure that all cleaning products are labeled in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
Conducts inventory of cleaning supplies prior to depletion. Submits forms requesting supplies in a timely manner.
Buffing floors on a bi-weekly basis. Make sure equipment is clean.
Must follow the company protocol and guidelines for cleaning.
Maintain cleanliness of slop sink. Must acknowledge and adhere to instructions from Supervisor and upper management, primarily pertaining to method of cleaning, changes in schedule, cleaning assignments, etc.
Follows Phoenix policy and procedure including, but not limited to, contacting your Supervisor in regard to submitting Request for Time Off, Request for
Cleaning Supplies, contacting supervisor directly if absent or late.
Must wear appropriate attire (uniforms and proper footwear).
Shows respect for Dress Code by wearing the Phoenix uniform and proper footwear. Removes head coverings when entering premises.
Clocks in and out on a daily basis or uses the computerized call in system. Fills out Attendance Verification form.
Attends trainings as directed.
Other assigned duties as directed.
|Qualifications:||Must have the ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as assisting with non-contract jobs (moving, stripping and waxing, etc.). Must be professional and respectful to the customers. Must be a team player and have interpersonal skills. Lifting is required. Excellent punctuality and attendance required. Minimum years of experience –1 year.|
