REPORTS TO: Residence Manager
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Skillbuilders, Medical Specialist, Cook, and other assigned direct care and support workers
This management position exists only in the IDD Division (Developmental Disabilities). Assists the Residence Manager in supervising and coordinating activities of assigned staff. Assists in the personnel management, fiscal operations, inventory management, residential services, safety, and welfare of residents, training personnel, directing and coordinating the activities of the staff, and administration of the residence. Within the Residence Managerís guidelines, establishes clinical procedures and policies for residents and ensures that residence operations meet or exceed agency and regulatory guidelines.

Willingness and ability to use ICL supplied communication tools (e.g. computers, beepers, telephone, fax, etc.) regularly in the course of conducting business. Compliance with attendance rules and the ability to work on a regular schedule and has on-call responsibilities.
1. May be responsible for facility maintenance and reports needed repairs to the Director of Facility Maintenance.
2. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MUST HAVE CLEAN AND VALID NEW YORK STATE DRIVERS LICENSE
High School diploma or GED plus 3 years experience providing direct services to people with developmental disabilities that includes supervisory experience. Bachelors or Associates in Human Services field may be substituted for up to 2 years of the general experience. AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR/First Aid required or must obtain said certifications with three (3) months.
