The Director, Applications Support's role is to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the management and implementation of organizational information systems and software applications. The Director, Applications Support is also responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and applications. This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide his/her development team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems

•Manage the deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
•Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
•Collaborate with vendors, analysts, designers, and end users in the testing of new software programs and applications.
•Identify and resolve program errors.
•Review and analyze existing applications' effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
•Coordinate feasibility studies for software and system products under consideration for purchase, and give advice based on findings.
•Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
•Cultivate, disseminate, and enforce functional policies, procedures, and quality assurance best practices.
•Where necessary perform and provide Project Plans and Excel based budgets for department requirements, this includes but is not limited to supporting Grant requests and fulfillment
•Design & Conduct training sessions as needed.
•Ability to managed multiple deliverables to successful completion.
•Perform other duties that may be assigned.
|Qualifications:||Bachelors degree plus four years experience in software support. Prove experience in overseeing the direction, and implementation of software solutions. Extensive experience with practice management software applications, preferably supporting the mental health field. Must have experience working with Anasazi software.|
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
•Extensive experience with practice management software applications, preferably supporting the mental health field.
•Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
•Working knowledge of Program activities
•Strong customer-service orientation.
•Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
•Ability to conduct research into application development issues and products.
•Highly self-motivated and directed,
•Keen attention to detail.
•Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
•Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
•Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
•Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word) skills required
•Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
•Sitting for extended periods of time.
•Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
•Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings. Some travel may be required for the purpose of off-site software and system development management
